Another part of my journey is providing watercolor classes, sharing what I’ve learned through my learning experiences. I love watching fellow artists learn something new (yes we all have an artist in us). I especially love it when I see someone get that “aha” moment when they create something beautiful, that is when I get to see the magic happen as they discover their own creativity. If you can’t draw a stick figure, no worries, I provide all the drawings for you to easily trace during class.

Cave Painting! A Very Special Watercolor Opportunity
Ready to loosen up and go a little wild with watercolor?
Chris Blevins and Suzi Vitulli are teaming up for a dynamic, one-day workshop, combining over 24 years of watercolor teaching experience. This inspiring class is designed to help you expand your skills while having fun, and hopefully encourage you to experiment freely.
Together, we’ll explore fresh, playful techniques for applying paint, building rich textures, creating light and shadow, even a little sparkle. You’ll experiment with theme-inspired stencils and stamps (provided by your instructors), plus we are sharing a few favorite tricks of the trade that we have gathered over the years.
We’ll also dive into essential design elements that elevate every painting—learning how to capture your viewer’s attention, create movement, and not only draw people into your work, but keep them engaged.
In addition, we’ll explore creative ways to incorporate mixed media accents to enhance your watercolors.
Come experiment, learn, and leave inspired!
